Elaine Lavina Al (nee Schnurr), of Hanover passed away on Saturday, June 2nd, 2018 at LHSC-University Hospital She was 76.
Cherished mother of Jane (James) Veen of Wingham, Debbie (Dave) Benninger of Chepstow and Sandra (Don) Byers of Hanover. Proud grandma of Richard (Holly) Al, Crystal (Tim) Powell, Jessie (Angie) Veen, Matt Benninger, Danielle Benninger (Bryce Voll) and Samantha Byers and great-grandma of Cameron, Becky, Olivia, Nicholas, Macy, Hayden and Payten. Remembered by her brothers and sisters Cecil (Karen) Schnurr, Paul (Clarine) Schnurr, Wayne (Marion) Schnurr all of Walkerton, Glen (Lynn) Schnurr of Paisley, Tim (Diane) Schnurr of Walkerton, Linda (Henry) Brick of Waterloo, Lucille (Howard) Scott, Rosanne (Clare) Montag and Marilyn (John) North all of Walkerton,
Elaine was predeceased by her husband Nicholas Al and parents George and Kathleen (nee Fedy) Schnurr.
Elaine's family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday at the Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton (1106 Yonge Street). Parish prayers will be held at 4:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church, Walkerton (221 Victoria Street). Rev. Tom Moisan officiating.
Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton.
