Paul Lawrence Benninger
Paul Benninger, of Walkerton, passed away on Sunday, September 24th, 2017 at Walkerton Hospital. He was 76. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Girodat). Loving father of Stephen (Debbie) of Walkerton, Jeff of Hanover, Scott (Laura) of Guelph and Greg (Ang) of Hanover. Proud grandfather of Tyler, Nicole, Erin (Ryan), Cameron, Emma, Marley, Neilly, Avery, Aiden, Paige, Kaily and Mya and great grandfather of six great grandchildren. Paul will also be fondly remembered by his brothers Joe of Chepstow and Jim of Simcoe and his sister Bonnie (Howard) Neeb of Exeter, the Girodat family and his many nieces and nephews.
Paul was predeceased by his parents Francis and Loreretta (nee Berberich), his brother Ken, sister Fran Wilhelm (Allan) and sisters-in-law Mary and Adele.
Paul's family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, with Parish Prayers at 3:45pm, on Thursday, September 28th, 2017 at the Cameron Funeral Home (1106 Yonge St. S, Walkerton). Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 29th, 2017 at 10:30 am at Sacred Heart Church (221 Victoria Street, Walkerton). Rev. David Weise officiating. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton.
