Cecilia Rita Meyer (Stroeder)
Cecilia Meyer, of Walkerton, passed away on Monday, June 27th, 2016 at Brucelea Haven. She was 91.
Beloved wife of the late Frank Meyer and loving mother of John Meyer of Walkerton. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother-in-law Vincent Kraemer of Elmira, her sisters-in-law Beatrice Spitzig and her husband Cyril of Chepstow, Florence Spitzig and her husband Raymond of Walkerton, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Cecilia was predeceased by her parents John and Cecilia Stroeder and her siblings Anne Hinsperger (John), Florence Weiss (Dan), Caroline Illerbrun (Henry), Susan Weiss (Bill), Theresa Weiss (Leander), Joseph Stroeder (Agnes), Simon Stroeder (Lonetta), Marie Kraemer, Catherine Spiegl (Joseph) and John Stroeder (Phylis).
Cecilia's family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Wednesday, June 29th, 2016, with CWL service at 6:00 pm, parish prayers at 8:30 pm and K of C rosary at 8:45 pm at the Cameron Funeral Home (1106 Yonge St. S, Walkerton). Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 30th, 2016 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Church (221 Victoria Street, Walkerton). Rev. David Weise officiating. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Walkerton.
