Leonore Doreen Woodcock (nee Peterson), aged 62, left her family long before her time on May 5, 2018 in London, ON.

Leonore was born October 26, 1955 in Tillsonburg, ON. She was the second child of the late George and Lillian Peterson. Loving wife of 40 years to Paul Woodcock. Caring and devoted mother to Jennifer (Andrew) Comello, Jessica (Mike) Thornton and Jaclynn Woodcock. Cherished Grandma to Xander, Scarlett and Brielle. Dearly missed by her brother, Larry (Kathy) Peterson, and sister, Laurel Peterson. Forever missed by her extended family.

Growing up in Tillsonburg, Leonore loved to tap dance along with her older brother Larry. After a move to London as a child, Leonore attended Central Secondary School and was a cheer leader, which caught the eye of her high school sweetheart, Paul Woodcock, and together they raised their three daughters. Leonore was an amazing mother and always showed unconditional love and support to her family.

Leonore held many positions during her nursing career and was very proud of being a part of the nursing profession. Her compassion and empathy towards those she cared for was evident in every interaction she had.
In Leonore’s later years, she became an enthusiastic quilter and scrapbooker and enjoyed the friendships she built through these hobbies. She was thrilled to share her love of travelling and cruising with her family, and had many adventures with them, which allowed the family to create many precious memories.

Leonore's family will receive relatives and friends for a casual visitation from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton (1106 Yonge St. S).

The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 11th, 2018 at 11:00 am at WALKERTON PENTECOSTAL CHURCH, (1736 HIGHWAY 9), Walkerton. Rev. Ralph Schmidt officiating. Interment in St. Paul's United Cemetery, Mildmay.
