John Robert Fiddes of Walkerton passed away at Hamilton General Hospital on Sunday, January 28th, 2018. He was 83.

Beloved husband of Colleen Fiddes (nee Lyons). Loving father of Cindy Piron of Peterborough, Kelly (Randy) Westlake of Thornton, and John (Karen) of Brampton. Cherished grandfather of Tamara, Alexander, Meagan, Cole, Connor and Kennedy and great-grandfather of Lucas and Damien. Dear brother Janet (Ken) Hammond of England and brother-in-law of Wayne (Eleanore) Lyons of Walkerton, Mac (Val) Lyons of Phelpst, Cathy Walker of Hamilton. He will be remembered by his nephews and nieces.

John was predeceased his brother-in-law Bob Walker and parents Arthur and Marjorie (nee Robinson) Fiddes.

John's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, February 2nd, 2018 beginning at 9:00 am until time of the RCL Branch 102 at 10:45 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am at Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton (1106 Yonge Street). Rev. Rob Hiscox officiating. A celebration of John’s life will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 102, Walkerton (505 Scott Street) from 12:00 until 4:00 p.m.
